The trail around Reflections Lake is all flat except for one very small hill that can be circumvented on an accessible alternate section. Life jackets hang at the interpretive signs near the trail head for public use during summer. Toward the far end of the lake, additional trails lead off into the frozen wetlands during winter for additional exploration possibilities. Traffic noise from the Glenn Highway is never far away, but walkers get an up-close view of the tidal Knik River and when skies are clear, views of Pioneer Peak and surrounding mountains.
