Old mining roads in this area offer easy access to vast stretches of wilderness. This is a popular area for snowmachiners in winter; off-road vehicles in spring, summer, and fall; and moose and caribou hunting in the fall. These trails also make great hiking and biking access but I rarely see non-motorized explorers back here. The Belanger Pass trail head is near a cluster of private cabins. Please respect private property.
