Virtually no snow yet this year and mild temperatures have made it easy to get outside for walks like Powerline Pass, a wide valley above Anchorage through which a--you guessed it--powerline runs. It goes up and over and down to Indian on the other side. We walked up the trail for an hour and a half, then came back. The temperature was around 25, there was no wind (which is unusual for these mountain trails), and though we saw about twelve snowflakes swirl gently by, the day was overall calm and dry.
